Alessio Tubi has manufactured welded carbon steel pipes since 1960, in round, square and rectangular sections and offers one of the most comprehensive product range. The target market is mainly that of large retailers in Italy and other European countries. An important landmark for the company has been the production of gas and water Victualic grooved pipes suitable for pressure purposes, as well as pipes for applications in the large market of the rigs and oil drilling industry and for the pressurized conveyance of water, fuel gas and oils.

HOW WE WORK

The Alessio Tubi facilities cover a surface of over 370,000m2 , of which 108,000 roofed. With a yearly output of 150.000 tonnes (production capacity up to 500,000 tonnes), the company sells its products to all European countries.

QUALITY

Like for the other group member companies, product quality is a primary objective of the corporate management policy. Major investments are underway for a new IT system and latest technology machines in order to achieve new goals and strengthen its presence in historical markets.

QUALITY

THE QUALITY SYSTEM

On customer’s request it is possible to issue material testing certificates in accordance with UNI EN 10204 standards. Certificate types:

  • 2.1 Conformity declaration
  • 2.2 Control declaration
  • 3.1B Testing certificate

It also possible to provide the customer with authorization to be present at the tests. The control instruments are kept calibrated according to a regular verification programme. So as to be able to precisely asses the material characteristics and thereby guarantee product quality.

THE VERIFICATION OF QUALITY

The quality of the products improves with the refinement of the construction technology. Alessio Tubi products meet the required quality levels thanks to process monitoring and product checking. All the checks are undertaken in the Alessio Tubi factory. The factory is equipped for carrying out the following:
Testing on traction, resilience, countersinking chemical analysis, strain levels and welding checks.
Non-destructive checks with penetrating liquids and magnetic crack detector.
Dimensional, metallographic and micrographic checks.
